DUMPSTER LUST

We find stuff cheap and sell it for big bucks all the time, but nothing is more satisfying than dumpster profit.  Last week while pulling a small box from a downtown dumpster, this little jewel came tumbling out.  Its a set of Microsoft MS DOS 6.22 setup diskettes that came with someones PC back in 1994.   Within two days, they sold to a gentleman in Australia for $37.90.

Every year, chance finds like this from dumpsters earn us an average of $500 or so.  Now before you get grossed out, let me tell you that these are the "cardboard/recycle only" dumpster types, not the "garbage" dumpsters. 

Knowing the locations of dumpsters that consistently produce quality boxes and packing materials save our business thousands of dollars.

In the future, Im going to crate a blog entry on the finer points of "dumpstering", including what you should have in your dumpster kit!
